Current Facilities

Studies have found several inadequacies and problems with the current police station and public safety facilities including:

Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems at end of their useful life
Handicapped Accessibility Access external and internal is limited
Inadequate egress from second floor spaces
Limited building insulation envelope
Inadequate lockers, toilets and showers
Lack of sally port, no controlled booking area, detention facility deficiencies, lack of secure adequate storage for records and evidence
Moisture and structural foundation issues with Police wing of building
